“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11-13
Today’s passage is one that is quite familiar to those who support the right to life. I am one of those, for I believe that God makes every human being and that life begins at conception. There are no mistakes — God has a plan for every baby that is conceived.
Those that do not support the right to life, but rather support abortion would say that it is not a baby, but a fetus. Technically a good definition for fetus is “an unborn or unhatched vertebrate especially after attaining the basic structural plan of its kind”. Could it be that it is easier to kill the unborn baby when you call it a fetus and not a baby? And why do they still call the mother — “mother” rather than “adult vertebrate or mammal”?
Evangelist Ray Comfort produced a video called “180” Movie in which he questions people about Adolf Hitler, the Holocaust and abortion. Hubby and I watched it not to long ago (this was my second time viewing it, my daughter had previously shared it with me). It is an excellent video that is a little more than 30 minutes. I must encourage you to take the time to view it below, it may help you understand the real meaning behind abortion. It may teach you something about history that you have never learned too.
A baby that is conceived out of a situation that was unplanned or even the act of a violent crime has the right to life. If you are carrying a baby or you know someone who is and they are considering abortion as a way to terminate the life of that child, I urge you to watch and share this video. It may shed some light on a very, very dark topic of discussion and debate in our world today. There are so many loving families that would love to care for that baby. Give the baby for adoption or for foster care until that little one has a forever home.
If you do not know where to begin to find a home for a precious little one you can begin with “A Child’s Hope International” which is a faith based organization whose mission is “To motivate and mobilize the church and community to care for the orphans and vulnerable children through adoption, foster care, orphan care and humanitarian relief.” To learn more about this precious ministry, click here: TheChildrenAreWaiting
Perhaps you simply have a heart for the unborn and orphans. I urge you to share this post so others can be educated on the real issues and find hope when they seem to be in a hopeless situation.
God has a plan for that precious bundle.
