Restore Me

WOW, sometimes a verse just jumps out at you. I don’t know about you but sometimes I become complacent. What I mean is …

“Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” (Psalm 51:12)

WOW, sometimes a verse just jumps out at you.  I don’t know about you but sometimes I become complacent.  What I mean is I take my salvation for granted and just go about my every day life while all the time that precious gift of salvation is on the back burner. I forget the joy that is only possible with salvation. It is that unspeakable gift that Paul talks about in 2 Corinthians 9:15. Really now, when Paul wrote that he did not mean that we should really NOT speak of it.

On the contrary; we should be shouting it from the mountaintop.

I like how Marty Rene said it in her poem:

Shout, O people!
With tambourines, and dancing.

Shout, O people!

Jesus saved us from certain death.  We are glory-bound and that’s something to celebrate!

I pray that your joy may be restored and that you are not ashamed to talk about the most important life-changing, LIFE SAVING, event that you have known.  Do you know my Savior?  You can meet Him here: Jesus
