bible8“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

My youthful brothers and sisters in Christ, allow me to start off by saying this, God knows what you are going through. He knows the temptations that you are faced with every single day. You may think that no one understands you, but He does.

As teens, today you are faced with so many temptations such as sex, drugs, alcohol, suicide, and peer pressure amongst other things. It is important to know that the Word says, plainly speaking that God has got your back! The Word says that He is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle. God will never put more on you than you can bear. Whether it be schoolwork, a test, life at home, etc. God will not be unfair to you by giving you way more than you can handle.

The Word also says that He will provide a way of escape for you. It didn’t say that He might provide a way of escape for you, it said that He WILL! So trust God, my youthful brothers and sisters, lean on Him for He is a very present help in a time of trouble. He is on your side and will never let you down. 1 Corinthians 10:13 is not only a scripture, but A PROMISE!
