He Shall Appear

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (Hebrews 9:28)

In the context of this Hebrews letter, written by Paul, we are reminded that Jesus is coming! We do not know when, but because the Bible is true, we know He is coming to redeem His purchased possession.

I am so thankful that we have the Bible because it shows us so many of God’s promises that have been fulfilled already. This is a sure sign that when He says He is coming back, He is! When God gives a promise you can count on it … “God is not a man that he should lie;” (Numbers 23:19). What a wonderful thing to look forward to … that blessed hope of the believer — eternal life!
