Little House Homecoming Trailer

Who didn’t love watching Pa, Ma, Laura and all the others on the refreshingly wholesome TV series “Little House on the Prairie”? That series ran for almost a decade from 1974 – 1983.

The TV series was all about the Ingalls family in the 1870s American West. They lived on a farm in Walnut Grove, Minnesota, where it was all about family, faith and even the poverty that was the reality in the small farming town.

Even today, Walnut Grove, MN hosts a Wilder Pageant for 3 weekends in July each year. In it the community recruits local talent for live performances in an outdoor family-oriented drama based on the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. We have fond memories of when our own daughter,  Hollie Rose,  participated in the show as a young girl when we lived in Walnut Grove many years ago!

Now coming November 26th, “LITTLE HOUSE HOMECOMING”, a virtual cinema event will be available to purchase and stream. This is not a sequel to the popular TV series, but instead it is a celebration of a legacy that still feels like home. It features heartfelt new interviews with members of the original cast as well as reflections from fans and historians. You will also enjoy the spectacular footage of the places Laura lived and wrote about.  I like how Dean Butler (Almanzo Wilder) sums it up as, “A love letter to All things Little House and All thing Laura Ingalls Wilder”!
