2011, Something I have never done

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

When looking forward to 2011, what is the one thing that you have not been able to do that you will do in 2011?

OK, so that sounds like a New Year’s resolution, right?  Well, not really.  For example, the one thing that  I have never done (for an entire year straight) is make sure that all the laundry is promptly put away when it is finished.  When I get really busy, or captured into the computer, I tend to leave the clean clothes in the laundry baskets rather than put them away.  I have found that while I can use that as a barometer for having too much on my plate, I can also use it as a reminder that the job is not finished until it is finished.

So this year, I will wash the clothes, dry the clothes and put them away from January 1st through to December 31st.

How ’bout you?  What you gonna do?

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3:23-24)

I have two things that i want to do in 2011 that i have not ever been able to do… 1) Become debt free  2) develop such a relationship with Christ that I cannot think about anything else but Him and what I can do for His kingdom
