WOW! Going into week 4 already, I can’t believe it. I must admit from the top of this post that this was a tough week. It was not a routine week at all and that made it hard to keep on track. Even so, I worked out 3 days this week with ShapelyGirl Fitness Let’s Get Moving. I had planned to do 4, but missed that mark.

This week I learned that keeping those measurements and weighing myself so much is discouraging me, so instead of an update on that chart this week, I just want you to know that I am feeling so much better as I move my body. I am continually encouraged by the rest of the girls on this ShapelyGirl review crew and especially by Debra Mazda herself. Today I read her latest blog and was encouraged by this:

After having a now or never rude awakening over 25 years ago I lost over 130 pounds, however my thinking needed a major adjustment because I still felt fat all of the time.  In fact, some days I felt fatter than when I weighed over 300 pounds.  No matter how small I was getting  (read the entire post here)

Your thoughts can destroy you, in fact, in our Biblical Counseling ministry one of the biblical principles that we teach folks is that your thinking is directly responsible for your “feelings”. When you think on the right things you are promised the peace of God. AND that passes all understanding (Phil 4:7). Take a look at what Paul wrote about that:

Philippians 4:8-9 ( KJV ) 8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

So as I post this update:

I am thankful for the Word of God, which it TRUE.

I could have done better with the routine this week, HONESTLY

As we head into week 4 I will do better to give the ShapelyGirl Fitness program more JUSTICE

I can do this because God tells me I can do all things … and that is PURELY something that I totally believe

I will continue to enjoy this LOVELY southwestern autumn weather that we are having

Next week you will see a GOOD REPORT from me … because this program is one that is full of VIRTUE and I PRAISE God for it.
