I was asked by Grace Hill Media to take a look at the new series “The Eleventh” and post my review here. I was able to view the first two episodes.

“The Eleventh” is a Feeln original drama series that focuses on a young girl’s journey to getting to know her estranged grandmother in order to bring closure to the past and unite her family.

The series is available for streaming at Feeln.com (a Hallmark company) and one of my favorite things about it is that the episodes are short … only 12 minutes long. A great little dose of wholesome, family-friendly entertainment.

Here is a peek at what you will see on “The Eleventh”

The first two episodes did well to entice me to want to watch episode #3 when it becomes available. Right from the beginning you understand that you will get acquainted with some great characters.  You will meet Margaret whom is portrayed by Cloris Leachman. I love this lady actress and I promise that her tremendous talent will make you fall in love with the grandmother that misses her family. You will also enjoy appearances by some other TV greats like Florence Henderson and Ed Asner whom will appear after episode #2.

You’ll meet Janine (Ren Harris), the grand daughter that is on the quest to honor her recently deceased mother’s wish to cultivate a relationship with Margaret, whom has been estranged from the family for many years. You also get to know some other family and friends, Janine’s Dad “Neil”, played by Christopher Atkins and her Dad’s friend “Cynthia” (Tracy Nelson).

This delightful series takes you on a mysterious roller-coaster of emotions beginning with the realization that Margaret and Neil have a story to tell but neither wants to tell the whole truth. You feel the aching hearts from the grief caused by the death of a loved one as well as the pain and suffering that have built up from so many years of anger, bitterness and unforgiveness. Curiosity, courage and the desire to honor her mother’s wish cause Janine to discover a piece of the truth that no one wants to tell.

Though I have only seen two episodes I have learned that each one has you looking forward to the next. Watch full episodes of ‘The Eleventh’ on Feeln https://www.feeln.com/films/the_eleventh_s1e01?cid=GHMNorganic_050516_the11th_ChristianityEveryDay.
