Juice: New-Mexicali

This is one of our favorite juices in the house. It is pineapple based and so very refreshing. It is considered to be a yellow juice even though the cilantro and green chili turn it a little green. All ingredients are fresh and raw.

Ingredients (for three 16 oz. servings)

  • 1 Pineapple
  • 4 Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 large handful of Cilantro
  • 1 Green Chili
  • 1 Lime

Run all of the ingredients through the juicer in the order above. This juice is great when very cold or even served over ice. It makes for a very lovely dessert juice and it could be a refreshing companion to a light New Mexican lunch or my Chicken Enchilada Casserole
